We found this place while escaping hurricane Irma. We called about an hour and a half out and while they were full they told us they could fit us in and might be able to run power for us. When we got there they had run a new power line for us, a new tap into the sewer and a hose for water. We had full hookups. Amazing folks own and run this place. Thank you!!! After 2 nights of sleeping in our camper in a Walmart parking lot followed by a rest area this was heaven for us. The campground is located in the De Soto national forest. It is very quiet. Kids enjoyed the huge lawn to run around and the playground. They have bathrooms with showers and a laundry room. There are wonderful lakes to fish and boat at in the area. We even made a very successful day trip to New Orleans from there. We hope to come back someday.
Great place to stay. Very friendly owners. They are there to help you if you need anything or borrow stuff like tools ( like us). Very clean park a quit. Bathrooms nice and clean which was great to use. If you want a place to relax this is the place. Coming back here for sure every year.
